About an order

Amazon Orders Go Through Amazon

Everything from checkout to refund stays with Amazon on an Amazon order, and its order page is the fastest way in because the purchase history is already attached. That covers:

  • Order status and delivery
  • Returns, refunds and replacements
  • Payment and billing
  • Tires damaged in transit
  • Missing items from a shipment
  • Warranty, repair and seller complaints

This site sells nothing and ships nothing, so it cannot look up an order, change an address or issue a refund. Amazon can do all three, and usually faster.

About the tire

Check Two Places First

The sidewall carries the full size, the load index, the load range and the date code of the tire in front of you. The placard inside the driver's door jamb carries the size and pressure the truck was built around. Most Tacoma fitment questions answer themselves between those two.

Still unsure whether a 33 clears? A truck shop can measure it against full steering lock and full suspension travel in a few minutes, and the same visit covers mounting and balancing. A Load Range E casing is stiff enough to be worth handing to someone with the right machine.

Treadwear and Manufacturer Warranties

Treadwear coverage belongs to whoever made the tire, and each of Falken, BFGoodrich, Toyo, Nitto, General Tire, Mickey Thompson and Goodyear runs its own programme with its own terms. Coverage also differs between the metric and LT versions of the same model, so the claim is judged on the exact size fitted rather than on the product name.

Have ready before starting a claim:

  • ·The full size string and date code from the sidewall
  • ·Proof of purchase
  • ·Rotation records
  • ·Current tread depth across the set

Rotation history, alignment, correct inflation and an acceptable wear pattern all affect eligibility under most manufacturer terms. A set that wore unevenly because of a suspension fault is usually not a warranty case.
